by: UhWill pnms have their phones during recruitment this year? Honestly ruins the whole process when they can text all their friends where they’re going before signing.

I think so and yes it sucks ! I’m a senior and we didn’t have them for our pc class. We actually had to make decision based on our experiences and preferences blind without anyone knowing who got bids to what . Now girls just drop or make decisions based on where their friends do. It’s stupid. Not to mention sisters can continue the dirty rush when they text or snap their PNM friends during the process and coach them.

I don’t think you understand. A couple years ago PiChis (recruitment counselors) would hold onto their pnms phones during the DAY of each round. Pnms would get their phones back when the rounds were done and they’ve signed off on which houses they chose for the next day/ final bid day card signing. So they got their phones back daily. This way they couldn’t text their friend “hey I’ll put phi mu down if you’ll put phi mu...” etc.

Hey dumb ass then what’s the point of recruitment and rush if you all are just going to pick whatever group dirty rushes you and then only choose by where your friends go ?!? It defeats the whole process. Then let’s just cancel the recruitment and rush process. ... make it all a lot less time consuming for us and just make sorority tryouts ... show up to whatever sorority you like best then try to impress them and then they decide if you get in or not. Or we can just make sorority clubs and everyone gets in to whatever sorority they want.

I agree with the person before. Stop trying to control us. If we want to communicate with our friends and figure things out together so be it. Who cares if it upsets you string pullers at the top?
