nervous for rush
by: Elayna
Hey y’all! Nobody in my family or my friend group has ever rushed before but I love the idea of being in a sorority!! I know rush isn’t for a few months, but does anyone have any tips?
How big is rush? How many girls don’t receive bids? Do girls normally end up in the sorority that best fits them/that they like the best? What do people wear? Should I follow all the sorority instagrams to show interest or does that come off as bad?

You'll be fine. Be yourself and trust the rush process. Don't put all your eggs in one basket (sorority) and be open to all of them. Every, I mean every, time I meet someone who didn't get into what they thought was their first choice sorority, they say how happy they are they ended up where the are and couldn't imagine it any other way. And, ps. Don't pay attention to tiers. The ranking process is shallow. ALL the sororities are great in their own way... even the top ranked... and the bottom ranked. Great (and some not so great) girls in every house.

They always prepare the losers with this speech. You probably won't get into your first choice but give it a chance. Trust the process. My best friends now are in my unexpected Snap Bid Sorority. blah blah
What lame brainwashing. As a top tier, go big or go home.
