california gal coming to elon in the fall
by: calihi I'm coming in as a freshman this fall and am from california. do people care about east coast vs. west? are all the sorority girls from the area? do people care that you aren't from the south?

this isn’t a public university. it’s hard for ppl to tell who does/doesn’t have money bc everyone pays the tuition obviously some stick out but it’s assumed most ppl have money, esp in greek life. ur hometown is only relevant if someone from an org in from there that you know from high school. nobody cares if ur from the south like nobody at elon is either

While coming from money is a factor, no one asked about that nor was it relevant. West coasters are well-liked but Elon has a strong NE bias. A lot of cool west coasters get excluded from Top Tiers, but plenty are in them too.
