by: BettyBellI will be a freshman this Fall and planning on going through rush. What sororities have the fewest northerners? I prefer to hang around southerners. I know Elon is known to NC natives as a Yankee school. Thx y'all!

1. Freshman rush isn’t til spring
2. People come to Elon from the northeast because of the weather and the campus. There’s hardly anyone from the south and that’s just how we like it. The south is much more uncivilized and that’s why we stay in the Elon bubble. It’s like a little boston, jersey shore, nyc all combined into one so if you’re looking for an old south school, you should probs transfer

One thing is certain, you will never see Southerners head up to yankeeland in droves to go to the same college and change its culture for the worst. I can name 10 colleges in the south that Yankees have ruined. Just like no southerner ever retires and says I am moving to New Jersey.
