national sorority reps
by: confusedI think its so interesting how traditionally southern top tier sororitys are not top tier here at all. At most sec schools girls would give a leg to be a tridelt or KD but not exactly at elon. Just genuinely curious why the national reps of most sororities dont apply to elon?! I'm transferring here next fall from a southern school i was just surprised to see how things work here!

I think both should be considered, but national rep shouldn't be the priority. A few alums that I know have made connections through their alumni chapter or just through sorority connections. Regardless of what others think of each sorority at Elon, I believe one wouldn't stay in their group if they weren't happy and enjoying their 4 years. But it usually doesn't hurt to be a part of a strong national org after college, too.

I agree national rep shouldn't be a huge deal, I was just commenting on the difference I saw between here and the school I'm at now! Elon doesn't have kkg so I have to take alum status, but all sororities are unique in their own way and I just have a general pan love across the board! Cant wait to be here next year!
