Switch Delta and Phi Mu then it’s right. KD, AOII, and Delta were the Best of the Night. Everyone was talking about How those were the stand outs and best quality choreographing and dancing.

Winning/placing changes nothing with sorority tiers or not does it mean your sorority is “rising” . It’s just a charity event and doesn’t affect your image.

AXD was awful not sure what you were watching ? Ya everyone loves game of thrones but that routine was not good and just flat dancing overall.

If you assume that a dance should win or place because you like the theme, you are mistaken. It should be about the difficulty and skill of dance, complexity of choreography, and the creativity. Those are the judging standards mentioned by ENN. While game of thrones and suicide squad might be cool ideas for a theme that doesn’t necessarily mean the actual dance skills or choreography are good and hey weren’t. You don’t win or place for your theme.

Axid did a good job, but it was average this week. They have no business being discussed in the top 3 finishers this year.

DU and Sig Chi were the best guys. Each actually tried with choreography and dancing. Especially DU you could see the time and effort put into actually memorizing the moves and trying to dance well and not being self conscious without a mask . They owned it. While Beta was funny the dancing and choreography were lacking.

DU tried. That counts, but they still dance like dorks. It was nice to see them choreographed and dressed uniformly. They were 2nd or 3rd to me.
Sig Ep was just fun, maybe not the best choreography or dancing. Beta was not even Top 3. But no one was as bad as Kappa Sig. They should have stayed home with KA and Lambda.
It seems every year the judges pick or push a new group like it's "your turn" now to win.

I don't think the Jabbawockeez masks is about being self-conscious knowing the egos on that frat. But it's lame when you use the same props from the year before. I agree with the how did Beta win?

Lots of great dancing yesterday... some not so great. Not surprised KD won- their music, theme, and dance was the strongest from start to finish without focusing on just the dance girls. Lots of easy arguments for 2nd and 3rd, but in my humble opinion, KD was the clear winner. As for the guys- clear the groups practiced. Beta had the crowd with the music choices. Congrats to all. It takes a lot of practice to prepare for the dances and they are fun to watch.

Yes agree with some of your points, but KD also had a dance major front and center the whole time. She was the main focal point . Most people agree that KD earned a top three placement. The other two were charity placements so the actual charities of their org. received some fundraising money for a change.

KD was most solid. They were very in sync and clean from start to finish, I can see why they won.
Sigma's was awesome as always. Although they sort of had a theme, I think that hurts them always in the end.
Delta was pretty good as well. Not the best, but probably fell about third.
AXO crushed it. However, it wasn't super cohesive, which I believe was their downfall. But very creative.
AOPi was next in my opinion. Very creative theme, but could have incorporated more of their dancers. It mainly focused on their big dancers.
AXiD had a very cool theme, no doubt about it. Their dance just wasn't that hard.
Zeta was very together but also very slow.
Phi Mu was good, but ultimately very boring. Probably placed because they used props and it wasn't vulgar
SK I'm sorry, this one wasn't your best. Cool theme, not well executed. But honestly, your bad is still pretty good.
