making friends without joining a sorority

When girls join their sororities are they still open to making friends with girls who are not Greek? Can I still hang out with them on the weekends at frat parties and such or will they stick to groups within their sorority?

Yes of course but it depends on the girls. There were a lot of girls I didn’t meet or become friends with until after they had joined a sorority spring semester. But on the other hand, some girls that I had met first semester acted like they didn’t know who I was after they joined a “top tier” sorority.
