9 is enough. Only 75 girls that signed up for recruitment this year were not going to get a bid. I don't know a single person that got dropped from everywhere and know plenty of people who dropped because they didn't get what they wanted. There's no room for another sorority, especially if elon keeps raising the gpa requirements.

75 Girls is an entire pledge class plus a few. There are larger campuses than us who have smaller sororities and are doing really well. Smaller chapters have an easier time keeping their sisterhood strong and therefore having higher retention/moral. Having another org would probably be a good move to allocate for those girls who didn’t get bids and the girls that will inevitably come in the future because of rising enrollment.

This is another PC but doesn’t mean it’s a cohesive one. Instead girls get spread out and none of the chapter get who they really want. The freshman class has a higher girl: boy ratio than any other class, yet saw a drop in recruitment registration from last year. If anything Greek life got smaller this year, so adding doesn’t make sense at all right now

I've heard of 10 girls dropping because they didn't think fsl was right for them, I know more who dropped in the middle because they didn't like the sororitys they were asked back to. There's probably more that I just didn't hear about. I'm sure there are girls out of the 75 that were released from the process, but they were most likely the minority and in the end not enough to fill an entire pc.

If you add another sorority and keep kicking fraternities off, it just promotes a sort of loose hussy behavior by sisters to get attention from the limited number of brothers around.
Also, the sad thing is most of the guys in frats are not on the same level as many of the girls.
