rethinking my choices

Which is the most respected sorority? The one that goes out and parties but takes their schoolwork seriously. I have an idea but I want to get other opinions.

I would say AXiD and SK are two of the more respected sororities because they know how to have a good time, but are also involved. Although you're going to find people like that in almost every sorority.

How selective are SK and AZD? Are they similar to top tiers with dirty rush and stuff. If you're an attractive girl with good grades and fit in the sorority culture is it a given? Just haven't heard a lot about rushing those two.

Nothing is a given during recruitment. For these sororitys, it really depends on the convos you have and the first impression you give off. If you don’t give them the time of day bc you THINK you’re gonna be top tier, they’ll drop you. Just having good grades and being attractive won’t get you that far.

I heard AZD was most selective during recruitment last year bc they cut the most girls on the second day. They don't dirty rush but they really don't need to. I would say you definitely have to try to get into those sororities come recruitment.

AZD was the most selective, but not intentionally. The smart girls used an outdated selection strategy and screwed themselves over. I guarantee they won't overcut this year.

KDs are smart and always have the highest gpa on campus. They also do go out and have fun but aren’t as out there about it and aren’t seen as much because they don’t promote themselves which hurts them in the respect category. But they have some really cool and fun girls

Delta, AZD, and SK are all well respected. They are focused on academics, philanthropy (especially Delta), and sisterhood. They also have very cute girls. I'd say these are the most sought-after houses during rush.

Hearing that being in AZD or delta is a hassle . Lots of work, meetings and commitments . Kind of hard if you double major or heavily involved in anything else like Club sports, Music, sga, etc.
