which frat??
by: SplitImma keep it short. Im an incoming freshmen with very good friends in Pi Kapp, KA, and Kappa Sig. What are the pros and cons of each? Which one is the best?

Pi Kappa is not technically a fraternity. They do everything off campus and have built a rep for good parties and good brothers. They mix with the top tiers. It's all underground.
KA is a small frat. All the brothers know each other. They are known for good parties and mixing with the top tiers.
Kappa Sig is the oldest frat. They used to be a solid top tier, but have fallen. Some people say they got a good spring class, but some think they are behind the other 2 like me. Their parties are not as good and they are kind of dorky kids from rich families, but not all of them.
I would go KA > Pi Kapp > Kappa Sig. KA is recognized. Pi Kapp is cool partly because everything is a secret. Kappa Sig is on the bottom, but they could end up back in top tier down the road. Going Kappa Sig might be a smart longterm play. Buy low, sell high.
More importantly, you should go to the ones where you fit best, but that's always hard to determine. I personally think you are stupid to skip out on Lambda and Sigma Chi.

Well you're in luck because all three of those frats are great. I think Pi Kapp could be on the rise to beat Kappa Sig and KA out very soon, though. Kappa Sig tries way too hard and many of the brothers aren't all that nice, but KA can be super lame sometimes (although I prefer KA). Pi Kapp being underground is both a blessing and a curse - they have a lot of fun and being underground has made them stronger, but i'm not sure if new Pi Kapps are official members really
That being said this post made me cringe and if you're saying stuff like this at school it will make you look like a huge douche

That's how we know Sig Ep is legit. The haters jump at the chance to tear us down. We are the most accomplished, involved and honorable men on campus. And every year we get better as the rust gets removed. On top of that, the dimes of Elon date Sig Ep. Yeah, we may not have the best parties, but if a girl wants to spend real time with someone, she spends it with Sig Ep.
Normally, we don't say anything on dumb sites like this site. But sometimes you followers need a wake-up call. mic drop

Try pledging and actually working hard for something and you'll reap the rewards. Have fun hanging with azds and tri delts. You aren't a top tier fraternity when you have such a weak brotherhood you don't know each others names. Sorry.

"the dimes of elon date sig ep" yea you guys really are the only kids that need to tie down a girl to get laid. better yet, these girls that date sig eps usually put them on a leash and bang other dudes. Fact is that while you guys are spending Friday night practicing your napkin folding skills at brotherhood etiquette events, your girlfriends are getting banged by dudes in real fraternities. Furthermore stop calling yourselves accomplished involved and honorable that makes you sound like a self-righteous nerd.

I would pay 50 dollars to any sig ep who could name off every "brother" in every one of their "pledge" classes. Your fraternity is a joke.. the Weenie Hut Of Elon (Weenie hut Jr. is reserved for Beta and DU).

And you sound so cool objectifying the women of Elon like that. That's why we have relationships with them while you boys smoke weed in circles hidden in your party house talking about who you would like to bang.

That's a pretty bold statement. I'd say its a matter of opinion. For example it is my opinion that sig chi is a poor mans kappa sig and lambda is the red headed step child that kappa sig, ka, sig chi, and pi kapp don't want to hang out with / what sig ep would be if they went to the gym too much. But hey, it's a matter of opinion
