by: SadElonStudentOk, so everyone can probably admit that Elon wasn't their first choice...in fact, it was my back up school. So just for fun, where did you really want to go? I'll go first.... rejected from NCSU, UNC. State was my dream school. Got into Appalachian, ECU and Elon. And here I am.

Elon is a lot of people's first choice. My high school was very competitive academically and several people did not get in and had over 4.0 GPAs with great volunteering and extra curriculars. State is ok yet kind of sketchy since campus is right next to a prison. Elon has excellent alumni connections and internships that get you set up for great paying jobs right after school. Smaller
Class sizes with actual working relationships with professionals who don't treat you like a number in a lecture hall. You should feel
Blessed to go to Elon. Not to mention the campus is gorgeous and so is the student body.

That makes little sense. Elon has a good academic standard, but it's not Ivy League high. And Elon parents and Greeks get you jobs. Good luck if you don't have that lined up.
