by: Incoming freshman broIm an incoming freshman guy looking to join a rowdy frat that gets a good amount of hot girls at their parties. Kappa Sig, Kappa alpha, Pi Kapp, Sig chi, and Lambda Chi all seem to fit that description based on what Ive heard and read. Which one of those parties the hardest, also which ones are the easiest to get into?

I would go to a KA or Pi Kapp party over a Kappa Sig party. Kappa Sig boys are just plain creepy. Even Phi Mu doesn't want to hang with them anymore.

That's such a troll statement. Like "sororityty girl" above said almost every girl I know would choose KA or Pi Kapp parties first. It's not about how much money is spent there, but who you are hanging out with. You can't buy a personality.

Maybe Pi Kapp because they are off-campus. It might be Kappa Sig too, but they still get demand due to their legacy. It's definitely not Sigma Chi, Lambda or KA. KA numbers are small and they expect you to know everyone in the frat kind of like Sigma. It's kind of hard getting into a frat period.

Idk if you mean getting into a party or getting a bid, but I'll try to give you a solid answer. For the group of fraternities you mentioned (the top tiers) the first two weeks of school are going to be your main window of opportunity, especially if you don't already have any ins. It is going to be the first two weeks that they won't be overly hard at the doors because they want a chance to scope out potential rushees. So during that time, I would focus your efforts on going out and being social/ making friends with the brothers. These first two weeks are really make or break and are where first impressions mean a lot. It'll be after those 2 weeks where the doors will become VERY tight and you'll have a pretty good idea of where you are welcome and who is considering you for rush, which is why you should definitely not put all of your eggs in one basket. At the end of the day fraternities at Elon ESPECIALLY the ones you had mentioned are very exclusive and the brothers won't give you a second glance if you bring nothing to the table. So advertise your assets whether it be that you're athletic, smart, funny, or good with girls. Lastly as a fair warning, any loser can drink a lot, smoke a lot, and go out to every party so don't make that your main selling point cause you will be taken as a joke.

And good look if you are not white or look white. They will hang and party with you, but you will probably miss that window to become a brother. It's sad when the minority juniors hang out regularly with guys in a frat and are friends, but they are not brothers. What's up with that?

Kappa Sig might be the worst of the ones mentioned, but all the others like Sig Ep and Beta and ZBT and DU are worse. Sig Pi might be better.
Kappa Sig is still better than a bad KA or bad Pi Kapp party.
They are about middle of the Greek frats. I realize they have fallen, but greekrank haters make it seem like they are middle tier now. C'mon.
