I've heard people describe tri sigma as a cult? I know they are top tier at elon but what exactly makes people use this expression to describe them??

hahaha sigma at elon isnt an actual cult at all. People say this because sigmas tend to only hang out with each other and take pride in being known as the scarier edgier top tier when in reality a lot of the girls are actually sweethearts.

They are a cult, because their sisterhood is strong.
It's a criticism based on jealousy. Some people claim Sigma makes you leave your old friends behind. That's a bunch of horse crap, just like how they say Zeta is all dumb girls.
"Most" Sigma girls do live with other Sigma girls. Big deal.

sigma gets hated on for being so close but isnt that what a sorority is meant for anyways? Yeah they're top tier and yeah they love eachother. nothing wrong w either of those things.

zeta and phi mu coin sigma as the cult sorority because they're jealous they can't have as tight and genuine sisterhood, and because they know sigma is the best at elon
