what exactly does zeta and sigma do for hazing?

so my roommate last year was a sigma and apparently during pledging, an older sister gave her this cucumber that had been passed down from sister to sister for generations and every day she was required to keep it in her vag. but if she didn't produce it upon request they would cover her in peanut butter and bury her neck deep in dirt for a little bit. sounds pretty bad but it builds character I guess.
