Well if your main reason for a transfer is due to Greek rank that is ridiculous. LOL ! I just went to NCSU's Greek rank page and it's the same crap.
Some people act like Elon is the only one to bicker on this site or have Greek issues or competitiveness. Go look at the NCSU discussion thread on "playlist buzz" where a sorority girl put her name on a list she made public which listed all the frats and their reputation on campus which was pretty vicious with its descriptions. She was kicked out of her sorority as punishment. Look at all the Greek insults about their Greek ranks and calling each other names on their Greek rank discussion page. LOL ... Elon is not the only university to have this going on. Good luck at a university next to a prison.

Jill, good luck at NCSU. It's a good school. But it is not in the top 5 in NC. UNC, Wake, Duke, Davidson, Appalachian or Elon.
Too bad you did not like it here. Why do you have to crap on Elon on the way out? Look in the mirror. There are plenty of happy people here.
I am assuming you are a fellow North Carolinian and I do not know your details, but some people just can't handle the transition their freshman year. Do you live near Raleigh too?

Walking around on campus, the undergrad class is very nice and helpful. I know that's superficial, but it is very true.

Just need to look at the right clubs or events. There are approximately 6,000 students at Elon. I don't think they all "suck" . LOL College is what you make it no matter where you attend.

@Jill Elon is far from a "hell hole" LOL . Our campus has received many awards and scholarships for academics, scholar athletes, campus awards for gardens and aesthetic, awards for our environmental approach to our campus ... solar, composting, farming, waste, recycling, etc. our internships and after college employment contacts are widely complimented. We also have a very philanthropic student body of students. Our professors are extremely caring about our student body and go the extra mile.
Very sorry to hear that you had a rough year and felt this way about Elon. At any college you need to find your tribe of people/friends and get involved. Good luck at NC state .
