When you rush an organization that is on probation and you join them you become part of their past, future and present.
Please read the article about tri-delt at the University of Nebraska before you think about rushing Phi Mu. They already broke their probation rules and had a secret formal. The evidence is adding up and there is a chance if nothing happens this year it will lead into next year so beware of the potential risks if you rush phi mu

The person below does not have it right. As a friend of many Phi Mus it is clear that things were misconstrued. No, no one intentionally dressed up as any of those listed. If anything, they dressed as a particular person. This was made unaware to those who saw the photos but did not know the story. When dressing for this mixer, they kept in mind things that would "shock their mom". You can see how these ideas led to these accusations of racism but, there was never any intention to dress as cultural stereotypes. None at all. Their formal date party was properly registered and pictures were allowed to be posted. They do not lack sympathy. They are trying to rework the wrong they did not have intentions of doing. I hope when you come to Elon you can see beyond this.
