When you rush an organization that is on probation and you join them you become part of their past, future and present.
Please read the article about tri-delt at the University of Nebraska before you think about rushing Phi Mu. They already broke their probation rules and had a secret formal. The evidence is adding up and there is a chance if nothing happens this year it will lead into next year so beware of the potential risks if you rush phi mu

This is all really sad. Phi Mu is in a really bad place. There are so many similarities to the article above with Nebraska. These girls in Nebraska joined a chapter that they thought was solid and they had no idea that they were in serious trouble. Racism is a touchy issue and no matter how much Phi Mu wants to make pretend that this is not real and it will just "go away" this is not going to happen.

Rush counselors will NOT tell you this information. Even worse, they will tell you not to listen to 'tent talk' which is how this information is usually passed around. My advice is to absolutely listen to 'tent talk', gossip and any and all web resources and then make you own choice. The DDD situation was another awful situation that just happened to pledges that didn't understand what their house probation meant at all. Thank goodness they weren't initiated but now they have no house and have very very low chance of getting a house as sophomores and DDD pledges. Watch out and think for yourself if the risk is something you can live with. When a national shuts down a chapter, the chapter typically doesn't come back for 3-5 years. Adios Phi Mu!

Yes they are on probation. You can do the research with Panhal and ask. They are on Probation and Nationals is deliberating on how to handle. They think if they make it like nothing is happening it will go away. The comments on here are really sad. To say that people are trying to keep it on top of the discussion board? Why should it not be on top of the discussion board. Do we allow things to happen and ignore, we are in the south, and in one of the most intolerant states in the Union. Ignorance is bliss girls? No people deserve to know the truth about the chapter they are rushing or they can end up with out a chapter at all.

@omg ACTUALLY you sound like such an idiot. The nest of the best? You brag on this site that you are the best of the best? How about saying you are sorry and take responsibility? No matter what rumors are true and not true. It happened, that is not a lie, the photos were on social media, it was in the Elon news. You can hide your head in the sand and say you are the best of the best. You just made yourself sound so MUCH WORSE!
