Sigma Chi is a relatively new fraternity at Elon campared to Kappa Sigma, Sig Ep and Sigma Pi.

Nope. You cannot be more wrong. This is not an inheritance.
Phi Mu will not be Top Tier. They will get hurt if they can't recruit, but they will recover in 2-3 years, because they will do everything dirty. Probably get nicknamed "Dirty Mu".
Kappa Sig is struggling heavily for years. Their recruiting class this year was hyped up by them, but it was as expected.
Why be a tagalong Top Tier like KS when KA, SigEp and PiKA are strong and more relevant.
KS is struggling on the cusp of Top Tier and Phi Mu will Not be Top Tier soon.

Phi Mu will have trouble recruiting next year. A new PC will be hard to recruit unless they do some heavy damage control. There is no moving Sigma and Zeta as they have nothing concrete and negative. 7 sisters with questionable GPA's will not prevent new girls going zeta and hazing rumors will not stop girls from pledging Sigma. These issues are not enough to keep people away.
Phi Mu is screwed though. this is something that can not be dodged, if anything it will be magnified, plus if the recruits google it, it comes right up in Elon news. Enjoy the middle tier Phi Mu.
Now there is some room for some new sororitys to move up. The middle tier PC's showed strong with their PC's this year, give it a couple of years there will be a couple of sororitys joining zeta and sigma

Bad parties/costumes? Not sure why there is a difference or if there is one? Probation is probation. Although I do agree that the news articles will affect future pledge classes and recruitment. The grade things haven't been publicized except in here.

No kidding about the fake news. Sigma did not give out any snap bids and I find it funny that there are people posing as snap bid sigmas.
