is tri sig a npc?

by: ????

I had never heard of Tri Sig before coming to Elon. Are they a member of NPC or are they a local that is just here at Elon? I've talked to people at other schools and they have never heard of Tri Sig? Why would anyone join a small local if that is in fact what they are?

Sigma is irrelevant. BOTH locally and nationally. THE TRUTH.

Just called my mom to discuss this issue of 'national reputation'. She said it was real and really is impt if you want to join a group after college. She also confirmed that Sigma has very little national presence and won't be much help on the job search front. My mom was a DG and she said it really helped with her job search and the local alum group in DC was fantastic when she just got out of college. So, don't listen to those that say national doesn't matter.

Top 5 Nationally gets 10% off at most plastic surgeons. Too bad for you Sigma.

if we were at a school where nationally top tier sororities were top tier at elon and you were deciding between that one and sigma, of course you'd choose the first one. the thing is most of our sororities are small nationally and won't help us much in the job world. I for one care a lot more about how my sorority affects me during my 4 years here than after graduation

Very shortsighted view imo. National matters. Sigma isn't relevant on ANY level either local or national. True.

Sigma is synonymous with irrelevant. For those Sigmas (or Zetas too) that don't get it:

syn·on·y·mous
səˈnänəməs/Submit
adjective
(of a word or phrase) having the same or nearly the same meaning as another word or phrase in the same language.
"aggression is often taken as synonymous with violence"

I am an alum and a Tri Sig from Towson State in Maryland. I came down to visit someone at Elon. I approached a group of sister. I introduced myself as a Tri- Sig and they quickly laughed at me and said we go as Sigma. They were rude and giggled and walked away. I was embarrassed to have my sorority represented this way. Work in Sisterhood, "SISTERS"

This never happened. And TriSigma is known as Sigma at many colleges in UNC. It shows dominance. Sigma is known for their sisterhood, so good try at chipping at that trollface.

The trolls always start by introducing themself to give themself credibility. "I am a freshman girl looking to pledge and..." Nice Try. Goodbye.

lol, I guess Sigma sucks. You (yeah, you) typed it enough times on Greekrank, so it must be true. Those poor HSers reading this will be crushed. How will the Sigmas handle this? I feel for my poor unfortunate ex-roommate. She just goes around happy and oblivious. She doesn't even know that this is her Green Mile.
