zetas the only one who gets bashed on this site because theyre the ones that are on social probation forever for making their nationals look bad. they're a hot mess at elon. they also probably dont care at all since the sisters aren't even friends with each other and have the least close sisterhood anyways.

This year's pledge classes put phi mu above zeta and sigma. Zeta hasn't fallen dramatically but they are definitely below phi mu. It's sad that zetas and KDs are placed higher then they are... they should stop self-ranking. Clearly KD is lower mid above achio and zeta is not as high as they were last year. If they want to be ranked differently they need to have better pledge classes.

if it was in terms of appearance, zeta would not be that high up. there are only small cliques of "star girls" who give zeta that reputation, but 80% of the other girls in zeta are SO average and middle tier material its not even funny.

I don't understand how in the hell sigma kappa is in the middle tier at this point. I agree kd isn't as high as aoii but they definitely are better then sigma kappa and even with ddd. And regardless of the trolls, phi mu really is the best of the top tier. I think that's just been proven by zeta's screw ups.

i agree with what? SK is not that high and has really slipped, so has ZTA. aoii, kd, and ddd have earned their spot.

aoii absolutely killed it this year and ddd and kd did not get the strongest pledge classes, but at least they are better than sk. Honestly, did they even get a pledge class because know one sees those girls in their letters or around campus. They also had some girls drop before initiation and more who are thinking about it.
Other than those orgs, there is still some changing in the top tier. Zeta majorly screwed up and has slipped. Phi mu has easily taken the #1 spot and sigma is now #2. Zeta will continue to fall and I don't think azd is too far off a top tier spot.

azd may take the top tier spot in a few years. zeta is also always on social probation and can't even have a formal this year... whats the point of paying dues if you're not even allowed to have social events because your older sisters are drunk screwups?

#131 wellll you have to somewhat judge a sorority on their pledge class... do you want to ignore 25% of people who make up the sorority?!?
and as for rankings:
Phi Mu- pretty cool pc compared to zeta and sigma
Sigma- they also got a great pc but are not #1, definitely have potential to be!
Zeta- unfortunately they had the worst pc of all the top tier sororities. hopefully next year they do better..
AxiD- they also got a great pc with really unique girls. I do not know if they will become top tier any time soon but they definitely right below the top!
DDD/SK/AoPi(all equal and all pretty similiar and most girls will prefer one over the other)- solid middle group and there are different types of girls in each sorority which some people will love and others might hate.
KD- they are definitely doing better and have potential to rise more! they need to get better pledge classes and that will help them a lot.
AchiO- the girls are really sweet and all but they are no where near even touching middle tier. They are definitely the bottom and I do not know if that will change anytime soon.

I think thats 131 makes the point that these new rankings are off only 25% of the sorority and not the entire sorority because these are all so different from last year when not that much has changed

yeah, its only 25%, but the older girls arent doing the recruiting, next year the current freshmen will be recruiting girls. its a cycle, if they get awkward weird freshmen girls then those girls will just recruit more awkward weird freshmen girls next year. it matters because sophomores do most of the recruiting.

that makes sense but at the same time these are the girls who are the faces of these sororities that incoming girls will see. also, if sororities were close in ranking, and even though the new pledge classes make up 25% of a sorority, they still can shift around social rankings. I agree that they do not completely dramatically change the entire sorority but they do have an impact.

actually the freshmen carry more weight because they're the ones recruiting next year. you get awkward social climbers with annoying personalities who are likely going to recruit even more awkward social climbers with annoying personalities.

every sorority thinks they're cooler than they are azds think they're almost top when after this year they aren't and sks are only involved with sk when they have fallen so much and deltas have such an inflated ego for no reason
