sorority rec letters

I'm from the south and at the universities nearby rec letters are very important when it comes to recruitment for sororities, is this the case at Elon? If so, how important are rec letters to get into a top or middle tier chapter?

pretty sure they dont matter at all. it really matters who your friends are first semester which is pretty much determined by where you live aka a good roommate or historic

As bad as it sounds, the top tier sororities tend to recruit friend groups. if your friend group is popular/well known enough then you'll be recruited by multiple sororities. try to live in historic because it makes meeting people much easier.. as long as you have a decent group of friends to go out with you will be just fine!
