commuter student and rushing?
by: commutertransferring next year as a sophomore and I live 10 minutes from campus. I want to rush so I'm able to make friends, since otherwise I'll only be on campus for class. Does this have any impact on my chances of getting a bid?

Speaking from experience in my org, we have several commuters, even one that commutes from 45 minutes away. If you're willing to come out here and hang out even when you don't have class you'll always have people to keep you company.
I'm pretty sure the others feel the same way too. Go to rush and find your people and it'll all work out!
