rush in the fall

SO! This applies to both guys and girls that are thinking about rush in the coming weeks.. RUSH IN THE FALL! This is the last year WoCo is having fall rush, so you should really try to be a part of it! With that being said - avoid listening to the stereotypes that you will hear from others - get to know the people you are rushing.

I rushed last year and ended up really liking the guys from a fraternity two fraternities. Got bids from both, and pledged the one that was actually considered "less popular" than the other. I fit great with the guys I rushed alongside and have enjoyed every minute of it!

Stereotypes are based on seniors and people that are probably no longer in the sororities/fraternities. That doesn't mean that certain people from each group won't fit a particular profile, but overall - the groups are really changing from what I have seen. Rush based on who you enjoy and get along with more because in the end - you want to be in the group you enjoy being with.

I know a few cases where people rushed based on preconceived notions, and they ended almost dropping or dropping altogether. Make the most of your college greek experience - I have made one of the best decisions of my life yet, and I am looking forward to meeting each of you all in the fall!
