Honestly not really.
They can be nice for the sorority to get to know you a little more, but at the end of the day if we want you you’ll get a bid regardless of your rec letters. If we don’t want you you won’t get a bid.
They can be nice but nowadays it’s super easy for people to get them. I have a sister who had glowing recs from a former president of a sorority and she got dropped on the first night.
I know another girl who only knew a couple people in the sorority she ended up joining prior to recruitment.
Wofford is such a small school that there’s less emphasis on recommendations than at a bigger school. We want you for who you are :)
