Competitive Sororities
by: AnonymousMost of the frosh I know want to rush Kappa or APhi. I’ve heard really good things about both orgs — they seem like the most fun and genuine. Everyone I know wants one of those though… wondering how competitive it’ll be?

From my class the difference was you had to have a huge personality for kappa. Like everyone in it is THE life of the party. Idek how they can all get along lol. i have noticed lotta kappas hang with aphi girls who let them have the spotlight

I would say a lot of aphis wanted kappa for sure but not vice versa. Both down to earth and fun. Kappa def more prestigious. You kinda have to be on their list already to have a shot. Aphi is not too hard to get into if you are fun nice attractive and don’t act like you tho k you’re too good for anyone but kappa and theta

This is true. Girls don’t expect to get dropped my kappa / theta and so don’t try at other the houses …then get cut by those too. Unless you know girls already or add diversity you’re most likely not getting into kappa or theta. Expect it and deal. Doesn’t mean you suck. You’re just not on their list before rush.

they mostly all have some version of prioritizing girls before rush. send her name and photo to this email or put her on the list (only one per member tho) or whatev

kappa & aphi both pickup girls they cut after pref soon after rush via cob. these are the 2 that haven’t had houses and now share house…so there is more dropping out senior yr when girls at all houses are so over gl but have to stay active to live in house.
