“top tier” rush is a sham

Stanford has such a minuscule Greek system and the so-called top srats pick their members in advance. Rush is just a formality. Don’t be offended if you don’t get interest from these sororities. It’s not that there’s something wrong with you. You stood no chance from the beginning.

If you wanna be in the most prestigious houses ask yourself these questions

1. Do you have actual real friends already in the house - not just Instagram
2. Are you an athlete on a prestigious team like field hockey or lax
3. Do you have a fancy lifestyle
4. Are you adding any diversity to house
5. Could you be a model?

If no to all of the above your chances are like <2% —like maybe if you really hit it off with someone and that someone is actually influential vs just a random member.

Pretty true. At my house it didn’t feel like our votes mattered. Like only a few members and our advisors ever saw any scores and we had no idea who was getting asked back and why

Also there was a way to communicate before rush people we knew who we thought would be good or not good members
