For years they have been writing their own wealthy hate posts because that is the brand a couple of their members really want. Particularly after being called nouveau in comparison to the others in the top 3 (again not true, just reflective of the actions of a couple of girls). They have the best sisterhood of the top 3. It is also true that they are smart, driven, and attractive. The attempts of some in this sorority to really sell the wealthy brand is hurting the sorority as a whole because they have always been more diverse than pi phi and kappa (another one of their best qualities). This is a great sorority for both fun all girl dance parties and making quesadillas after going out, but also a network of smart driven women to help you advance in your career and changing the world for the better. The brand a couple of their members want to sell is not reflective of the spirit of the whole.

When I think piphi I think mostly nice girls who didn’t get into kappa or theta but also a few who have a fascination with why they didn’t and with explaining that they are actually in a sorority that’s just as good. That manifests itself with insecure sisters like the one who came on the discussion board with “pi phi’s new pc is insane” boasting they got a billionaires child and other “really good girls”. They may as well have said “best in breed”. i wish they would put that energy into building an inclusive environment.
