Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at Depauw University - DU 2.2 This house is known for girls hating one another and talking about people behind their backs. Their sisterhood is non-existent and many of them have been known to wish they chose another house but who can blame them? This house is known for girls hating one another and talking about people behind their backs. Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at Depauw University - DU 2.4 Be careful if you make it to the third round of recruitment. At the end, they walk you out all the way to the street (so you aren’t on Theta property), then lean in your ear and say “i really hope i see you here tonight”. I remember how special i thought I was, but then I realized that every single girl I was friends with had the exact same experience. They don’t care if they see you there tonight, they disgenually take girls that would be a better fit for other houses and make them feel as though theta is the “perfect fit”. Just wait, you’ll learn through the years.

Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at Depauw University - DU 3.2 They were a good house before the incident, but now so many members were kicked out and they don’t even really have a class of juniors/seniors. It’s like half of what it should be, but no one on campus even knows that. Besides that they are a really fun house!!

Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at Depauw University - DU 2.0 If you are a parent or student reading this, do not rush this house. On top of the famous black face scandal and leaving the ATO in the ICU after he was found nearly dead, this is not a house you want to be associated with long term for your employment or reputation. These girls have great sisterhood but it’s a bubble that is laughable to the rest of the DePauw community. Real friendships aren’t based on the values and experiences they partake in. I would call this sorority the exact stereotype you see in college movies but in a small campus setting where your actions at frats are circulated. A lot of these girls are nice and it’s really sad this is where they’ve gotten themselves. Better off to rush a place like Pi Phi, Kappa Kappa Gamma, or Alpha Phi where they still have fun and go to the same parties, but doesn’t come with all the negative.
