Not so sure why people are hating on aphi.... if I would have rushed I totally would have gone alpha phi. The girls are super involved on campus and very social. They're philanthropy is super important to them and they always put on the best events ... keep it up girls!!!

Alpha Phi once was a great sorority on campus. Over the last few years their reputation has faded.... these girls lack sisterhood on all accounts. While they put on a good show for recruitment they really are not who the appear to be. Do not rush Alpha Phi if you are looking for forever friends.

Tri Sigma is a group that is always fighting a bad reputation given to them by past situations that usually occur between two women with opposing views. While I am not a Tri Sigma, I am friends and have worked with many of them in classes and on service trips. The saddest part about their situation is that they know they are being targeted, but do not feel as though what they have to say to fight back matters or will be heard. As someone who loves SJU, I can say that Sigma girls, like other Greek members, add value and spunk to our campus. Not everyone in life with be your cup of tea, but to insult these woman using derogatory words and sharing assumed opinions of them is low and pathetic. Check your heart, people. Sigma girls are kind and smart, with more to offer than they are challenged and asked to give - utilize what they offer!

Okay gonna be honest this sorority is the top at SJU. It’s the one every girl wants when going through recruitment. The philanthropy events are the best by far on campus. Every girl in Aphi is involved in at least one other club or sports team. They are pretty, smart and classy and are all approachable. Despite the negative comments there is no longer a sisterhood issue that I can see, the girls seem to all like each other.
