Delta Phi Epsilon - ΔΦΕ Sorority Ratings at SJU

For something that started out so sweet it ended so sour lol. not what I imagined at all. advice: don’t crowd a nm to be her big and cut off all her chances to bond with other sisters. bc then you’ll just be pissed when you find out you have nothing in common with them. funny how this big also had other littles and they all left the tree.. idk what values some of these sisters were taught but they’re great at alienating and making no one feel truly welcome. should’ve rushed theta lmao.

Not gossiping or hating on any of them. My experiences with them have been great and really nice in some cases. Other times, really terrible. At the end of the day, regardless of whether someone is in an org or not, they are their own persons and have their own personalities. Like I get that people recruit based on similar vibes/looks/majors/inte rests/personality…but like just because someone acts similar to another or looks similar to them on the surface doesn’t mean your instances with them won’t be different. There’s girls I met in the other orgs who did the same thing. Sometimes it was great and other times extremely unpleasant. Spread love not hate

On the fourth page of their rankings, one of their former presidents literally came on here and made a statement. It got close to 400 dislikes 😭😭 that’s insane. Don’t understand the disunity they have. Bullying should stop. Handle your business somewhere other than this site.

Forget anything referring to physical looks. College is filled with super gorgeous and normal people (inside and out) and apart of green life and not apart of greek life. The biggest issue with this organization is the amount of bullying, arguing, cruelty, pettiness, nastiness, immaturity, and toxicity that ensues. This is happening and the matters aren’t even handled privately by the org. Time and time again, sisters have bullied and fought one another. They will literally start problems out of nothing based on their moods, hearsay, and false assumptions. I went out for recruitment one year, met them, and were given a bid from them and 3 others. Guess what? I was so thankful I didn’t accept their bid. I thought i’d regret it because they were supposedly the nicest…They claim they are inclusive and diverse but later on, I saw their sisters in my electives making fun and bullying their other sisters for the same “inclusiveness” they boasted about during rush. Here I was, worried that other more “mean girl” sororities would use me as a token poc, when I realized this org is the one to ask YOU for a bid, and then later BULLY YOU for the SAME REASONS they extended a bid in the first place. Their cliques are insane and each clique bullies one another, other orgs, and people not in greek life. This org has had a bad rep since I came here in 2021, and got worse and worse

The two girls in this org fighting with each other a few posts down is really messed up lol. Extremely immature, petty and trashy. You guys actually had a chance to change. You had a decent recruitment theme. And then y’all just find ways to reverse progress. If “birds of the same feather flock together”, then why are some of your sisters decent and nice and the others are so fake, mean and two-faced? At least other orgs are cohesive but this one never makes sense. Lemme ask you, why is it that you hate, bully, and become jealous over your own sister(s)?

this org has downgraded SO much and is nothing like it used to be. the president is doing a terrible job and doesn’t care to invite the alumni to any events and is instead focused on sending alum to standards 😑 and she canceled one of the major philanthropy events because she could not get people to participate 😂😂 the president and eboard are absolutely useless and need to be replaced with sisters who can actually do their jobs and actually respect the alumni. so sad to see what this org has come to and beyond embarrassing that the other orgs don’t want to be associated with dphie

Dphi is bottom but members know that and don't think they're better than other orgs. Most sisters get along really well and clearly there's a little bit of drama but that happens in every other org on campus too, some orgs are just more mature about it. Biggest advice to PNM's is to give dphi and other lower orgs the same chance you would give middle / top orgs because you never know what it's like when you're in.

When I rushed Dphi this semester, I always felt welcomed. Every time I talked to a sister of Dphi, they always were interested in exploring who I was as a person, which made me feel valued. They always give off a positive energy, and I could definitely see the amount of effort and work they put into their sorority. I ultimately decided to go to a different organization that I just clicked with a little more, but they definitely impressed me.
