you call this a sisterhood???? just spoke to them for recruitment and all they can say is that they like having people to go out with. i even saw them texting while talking to me which is so rude. if you follow even just one on ig you know that they are at parsons every night. not even a nice place. overall trashy and pathetic.

How it felt: someone needs to take you on a long drive with the windows down and a euphoria themed playlist lmfao. and you need the wind to blow through your hair and take deep breaths. That’s literally what all of y’all need lmao. You guys are so stuck in a mentality that every other girl could be your competition. You need to chill, live in the moment and romanticize your life…cause there’s so need to compare yourself or try to make yourself seem like a quirky hot girl with ambitions. All women are THAT girl. to them: Life is not a race, and other women aren’t your competition. who you were yesterday and who you choose to be today are the only competitions.

Okay in all: a little too try hard. I think there’s like some type of tension to create the perfect facade and appearance. The thing is that I didn’t really feel anything distinguishable. Lmao it’s like I came into a room of virgos and i’m an aquarius lmfaooo jokesssss. but in all seriousness, you don’t have to try to be perfect lmfao. People see through that. to them: Please be yourself. I wonder what you’d be like if society didn’t convince you otherwise.

What I saw: They were friendly for the most part. However, I don’t really see why some people try to compare them to dphi. Very different subsets here. Their personas? Have you ever seen the episode of Victorious where they all get detention and they do a parody of the Breakfast Club? -That’s the vibes that came through and through with these girls! Very very different auras, like a Jade, Cat and Trina being all sisters haha.

honest feelings: beauty is in the eye of the beholder lol. They are objectively “pretty” - listennnn…everyone has beauty and they are no stranger...but trust meee, everyone is beautiful. They look like a lot of the girls I grew up with. I felt nostalgic when meeting them haha. It definitely felt like the old times when i’d carpool with the girls from school and I started to grow on them, and low and behold, we’d start to hang out and do starbucks runs and other stuff. - Definitely the kind of people that would warm up to you. I’m sure they can be mean. To them: Have you tried looking at the world from a different perspective. There’s so much to love about those that are different from yourselves.

What i’ve noticed so far: just like this sorority, at sju, there’s (objectively and subjectively) “pretty” and “not so pretty” girls in literally every org at this university lmfao. the girls have a lot of sisters who vary in self identity. not everyone “looks” and “acts” the same in this chapter. that’s deff different from the others. Because the other orgs appeared to look and act more like one another…and that’s fine too! But overall, I can’t discount that I had good conversations with these girls. I thought they were gonna be ode weird. That’s what this site paints it out to be like lol. but low key I met some real stunners and i’m def gonna hit them up and hang out with them even if I don’t really want to pull through with joining greek life at all.

they aren’t really that pretty either. A little weird and a little too “try hard”. They act like the kind that never really wanted to be in a sorority anyways. lol

I think they’re pretty cool, seem nice, but I heard they’re extremely rude and not too friendly. A lot of trash talking and what not

As an alumni I have a couple of things I would like to say about the org. When I went into recruitment a couple of years ago, I expected to be the token “poc” if an org as about 95% of these orgs literally have no culture whatsoever of get to what I am referring to. When I met DPHIE I honestly was taken aback as in my time there weren’t orgs that protected inclusiveness. DPHIE the epitome of inclusiveness when I began my time there. Then I saw a shift, especially when I was graduating. Some of them have honestly forgot what it means to respectful, kind, and compassionate. Talking down to one another and being power hungry gets you no where in life. Being understanding and empowered helps to grow your tribe. The org is depleting, you all know why it is. If you want to leave a imprint of a legacy, be compassionate, listen to ideas, don’t turn them down. Be an actual ally to your poc and LGBTQ+ sisters instead of doing it for social media. The DPHIE I joined is not the same as it is now. It’s honestly sad and disappointing. For those who do represent the message love and empowerment will forever show in your legacy. Please teach the new classes what it truly means to be a sister of Beta Omega. Don’t like gossip and pettiness fear you part. From a TRUE SISTER
