Let's call a spade a spade here. In the past year, Phi Mu got the biggest pledge class (56), won Sigma Chi Derby Days, won the dance competition at the ATO crawfish boil, won Pi Kapp Classic, won sophomore homecoming maid...Phi Mu also has football cheerleaders, Dixie Darlings, soccer and tennis team members, Diamond Darlings, and Li'l sisters for ATO, SAE, Sigma Chi, Pi Kappa Phi, Sig EP...the list goes on. Yes, I am biased because I am a proud alum :) But I shake my head when people insist Phi Mu is average. They sure don't seem average to me. In fact, they pretty much seem like number one!

First of all, each sorority at Southern Miss has something wonderful to offer! It all depends on who you click with and if you share chemistry with a certain group. I pledged Phi Mu because it felt like home. They loved me for me! The fact that they are beautiful and very involved in campus was just an added bonus:) I also loved Dee Gee during rush. Best of luck to all of the Southern Miss sororities this year!
