If you're just a casual observer, then you really need to observe more before making comments like that - you're WAY off base. I don't know what they do nationally, but it really doesn't matter because they're not top at USM and I really don't know anyone (outside that chapter) who would tell you that.

Swervin our way throught the summer! Phi Mu knows what's up!

Over 2o years ago, my roommate convinced me to pledge Phi Mu along with her during rush of our freshman year. I was being rushed hard by Chi O and really wanted to be a "baby owl". My roommate told me that I would just blend in and wouldn't be much of a contributor; she said that Phi Mu needed me more. I pledged and was initiated into this horrid group of girls. These girls were bullies and hateful to one another and treated me badly. I bet it has not changed one bit. After graduation from college, I went on to teach and be an outstanding influence on good quality girls. Whenever any fo my girls say that they are going to USM, I ask if they are going through rush. If they say "yes",I tell them emphatically NOT TO PLEDGE Phi Mu. My girls usually pledge KD or Chi O...The best groups on campus. Phi Mu really hurt my college experience, I did however, rise above. Sometimes, I feel sorry for them. They have the national backing to be good.

Just because you can't SWERVE it anymore doesn't mean that Phi Mu isn't awesome. We rock USM and there ain't no way you'd have been some baby hoot owl. They're snobby and you must be too if you liked them. Shouldn't have ever gotten initiated if you hate on Phi Mu like this. You need to get yourself some good SWERVE!!!!!!!!!!!
