Delta Delta Delta - ΔΔΔ Sorority at University of Southern Mississippi - USM 4.8 I'm from Hattiesburg as well - and I will be going through. I know so many girls from this area that are memebers of DDD, KD, DG, and Chi O. To say they all go with DDD is so not true. My best friend wanted DDD but ended up with KD instead and she loves where she is! I really do not see the purpose of getting on here and saying negative things about one chapter - we are not stupid and we know its girls tryig to make their own chapter look better. I agree with the statement - why does one have to be better then the other? Why can't they all be great? I love the friends I have in DDD - and if they end up with alot of "local girls" - well, its just because we local girls are some of the best!

I am one of those "local girls" and I would hate the fact that I would be "cut" just because I'm from Hattiesburg! I like the idea of going to each house and finding where you belong! I hope my experience is MY Experience! I know several of the girls in DDD, and I would welcome a bid from them if I was lucky enough to get one. Its a shame some of the other chapters get on here and bash DDD, ALL YOU ARE DOING IS MAKING ALL OF GREEK LIFE LOOK BAD!

Delta Delta Delta - ΔΔΔ Sorority at University of Southern Mississippi - USM 4.8 I'm going through Recruitment this year and I am so exicted! I have had classes with some DDD's (And alot of other girls that belong to other houses) and the one thing these girls have in common is the fact that you can tell "a sorority girl" from girls who are not. In my opinion, there is something special about them. I can't wait to see what is in store for me - The one thing I do wish is that all this took place over the summer instead of when school starts.

I'm going through Recruitment this year and I am so exicted! I have had classes with some DDD's (And alot of other girls that belong to other houses) and the one thing these girls have in common is the fact that you can tell "a sorority girl" from girls who are not. Each chapter has something great and unique to offer and DDD is no different! I have a lot of friends in this chapter and they are all pretty awesome! I agree with the last post - lets try to get all the chapters back to 80% and build each other up, keeping in mind that we are all pretty great and have a lot of offer any girl coming through recruitment! Good luck DDD

I've scrolled down and I see none of these posts about how good anyone else philanthropy panned out on anyone else's page. Like Pi Phi ranking top 10 in their book giveaway nationally or Phi Mu getting alot of money for theirs. Those are the things that make you look like self-rankers because people come on here to boast but only do it to make themselves higher.

Delta Delta Delta - ΔΔΔ Sorority at University of Southern Mississippi - USM 4.5 Recruitment works basically the same for upperclassmen as freshmen. There are two separate lists and each sorority has a number of upperclassmen girls they must take. Do not be concerned about being an upperclassmen because you will have the same advantages as freshmen. All sororities at USM are awesome. Greek life to the top.

I will be going through Recruitment this year and I am so excited. I will be a "upper classman" - but a new student at Southern. I know a lot of these girls and I enjoy hanging out with them. I am going through with an open mind, but would be thrilled with a bid from DDD! Does anyone know how Recruitment works for us "older girls?"
