As a junior I am not Greek, but would say that of all the girls I know that are Greek, the DDD's I know are pretty awesome! If I were to go Greek, I could see myself as one of you!

Do you really think that we PNM's are stupid? I have two older sisters (1 was DDD and the other was Chi O) who were members at Southern. "Greek Lingo" was spoken at the dinner table! Both of my sisters thought their "chapter" was the "best" and loved being a "sorority girl" .... Both have told me to go through Recruitment with an open mind and to make my own decisions - not to follow my friends (since I will make a ton of new ones) They also warned me about this stupid site and how girls will get on here to try to make other chapters look bad. My reply was, "You're kidding right?" But now I see with my own eyes! I also went to "the local school" and I happen to know the 2 girls you are talking about - but I'm also keeping an open mind about this as well, since I know that every "chapter" has girls that are good/bad ... smart/not so smart ... pretty/not so pretty ... etc ... 2 girls do not make a whole chapter!

I'm from Hattiesburg as well - and I will be going through. I know so many girls from this area that are memebers of DDD, KD, DG, and Chi O. To say they all go with DDD is so not true. My best friend wanted DDD but ended up with KD instead and she loves where she is! I really do not see the purpose of getting on here and saying negative things about one chapter - we are not stupid and we know its girls tryig to make their own chapter look better. I agree with the statement - why does one have to be better then the other? Why can't they all be great? I love the friends I have in DDD - and if they end up with alot of "local girls" - well, its just because we local girls are some of the best!

There are some really sweet girls in this sorority that did CHOOSE this sorority over others. Please don't assume that just because it's not your #1 choice that everyone agrees with you. They don't. They might not seem like the most popular girls TO YOU, but there are plenty of really great girls in this sorority.
