Probably has happened in the past, but not 3 at the same time...from the same pledge class. I mean, what are the odds on that? That was like just under 10% of their entire pledge class of 2010. Either a weird coincidence, or it's emblematic of the women they recruit.

You're not supposed to be sharing meals with any of your sorority friends right now. Weird? Yes. Against the rules? Also, yes. Until recruitment is over, you are to limit your 'friendship' to brief convos in passing...and no shared meals. If you're sharing meals with any of these ladies, you're likely to find yourself in a world of hurt once the releasing begins...because of some groups have seen you eating with members of the other groups, then they'll most likely assume you're already sold on that group and cut you early on. Unfair? Maybe. Realistic? You bet!

its better to accept that the old chapter did jump that kid, did beat up an active that was in the chapter than to just ignore it and say that others are "out to get sig ep" hold yourself accountable and try to get better. dont blame others for your actions and try to play by the rules because if you dont you will get kicked off again...

Looking forward to Rush as it begins this week! Maybe once I am Greek I will begin to understand all the "rules" behind it! I currently room with a Greek - so it is really does not make sense to me to say that "we are not allowed" to hang out with eachother, when we "sleep, eat, and study" together since we were "put together" in the dorm! Maybe a better job needs to take place when deciding who rooms with who! I did not pick my room mate - she was "assigned" to me! And once again, when thrown in such a small space, to tell us that we "can't" be friends for this week does not make sense to me at all! So yes, I will be eating with her, and even sleeping in MY room even though she is Greek and I am not!
