If you want to drop, then drop. It's easy - talk to your pledge trainer (or director of pledges or whatever you call her). Sign a couple of pieces of paperwork and you're done. just because "you" might've liked a bid from this sorority doesn't mean it's a good fit for everyone. don't try and make this girl feel guilty if this is not where she belongs. everyone has the right to make her own decisions. she did and now she's thinking she may have made a wrong one - it happens to EVERYONE at some point and there are always consequences. just because YOU were cut & would've liked a spot in this house doesn't mean "babydolphin" feels the same way. lay off her. she's being honest and i applaud that.

so they won't be mad at me if i go on longer and then drop? i just don't want to make a mistake, but i don't want to have girls spend more money on giving me stuff either. either way i feel like i'll make somebody mad. if i leave now, they'll say i didn't give it chance but if i hang around and get out right before initiation next month they'll say i waited too long and that they spent too much money on me. catch-22

this sorority, simply because of the diversity they display. No other sorority on campus can say this. They accept you no matter what shape, size, or COLOR you are. They aren't the "cookie cutter" sorority like some of the others are, and I definitely respect that about them.
