I do agree with previous posts about Recruitment this coming year - it will be INTERESTING! I know 2 girls on the Recruitment team and they are pretty wild - I know several other girls in this chapter and they are pretty cool. I was thrown between DDD and the chapter I ended up getting a bid from - I think I would have been happy here too. There is nothing wrong with each girl thinking her sorority is the best - I for one think all of them are pretty amazing! Good luck with Recruitment this year

It's interesting that KD is ranked one of the lowest on this site and they also have the lowest total rankings/comments. Way to be classy and not self rank or low rank other chapters. These ratings are ridiculous and so far from reality.

Can someone please tell me what this "Phi Mu Swerve" is? Because I have never heard of it until this site.

that if you what say is true .... she is not the only "college girl" to "shack up!" .... My boyfriend lives on the row in one of the top houses, and I am there all the time even though I am not Greek and I see all the girls coming through - girls from this house, DG, Chi O, KD, Pi Phi, and Phi Mu ... this is college! I know so many girls that are Greek, and I like most of them. The reason I did not want to go through Recruitment is this: All this bashing between the chapters when I know that everyone has friends in each chapter, but just because someone can get on here and say what they want without having to worry about anyone finding out it was them, is pitiful! If you can't say it to them directly, then why say anything negative at all? I personally am friends with about 20 of these girls and I have never heard them PERSONALLY say anything negative about anyone else (greek or non-greek) and I like most of these girls!

So true about the same(few) girls doing everything - and all the others being left out. Thinking if I was a part of this chapter i would certainly complain about it to the Alumni who are suppose to be "involved" since the "leaders" would not listen due to the fact that they pick the same girls to do everything! I did rank honestly thou, since I thought I should be honest. I was told by a DDD who I'm friends with that most of the girls really do like each other and that there are some really strong bonds in the house. That is good to hear, since that is one of the things that is suppose to make being Greek so special. Good luck with Recruitment this year, if what I hear about the Recruitment team - you will need the luck! Them girls are the ones that make DDD look bad

this weekend at Southern and staying with a friend in another house - but I also told her I wanted to visit some of the other ones, including DDD. I am excited about meeting some of them. I know about 8 girls in this chapter and they have always been really sweet girls. They are involved on campus and have good grades.

Honest Rank on how I really see things. No awards this year - bad rep for Southern miss making the national news - what else can go wrong for you this year? oh yeah - that thing you call the "swerve!"

@Phi Mu: that's very rude...and really says more about you than it does DG.

I really like a lot of these girls -they are a great bunch as a hole - but here is where I have a problem. They need to learn that they have a chapter full of about 140 girls or so - so why it it we see the same girls doing every competition? it would be nice to have some of the others participate! Really, just because you are a DD does not make you the only one that can dance, sing, cheer, etc .... if I was a DDD paying all those dues, I would not be happy at all to constantly have to sit on the sidelines! Involvement by many make for happy sisters who really do get along!!! justsayin
