Although I dropped while going through recruitment because of money, I wish I could have joined Alpha Phi. I always see them on campus in their letters and with their sisters. They even say hi to me if they remember be from recruitment. They might not always come out on top for homecoming or greek week but they are more active with different organizations throughout campus- which says a lot about their character! If I could afford it there is no doubt I would go alpha phi!

Okay, so here are the real facts. Ps a lot of these posts on here are ridiculously inaccurate. So here are the nice things about AST: some girls are very sweet, they have a high gpa, and are involved. They preffed #1 last year barely. Alpha phi has preffed #1 for 5 years before them. Bad: AST dirty rushes and this is not a rumor. A lot of girls quit bc they have an attitude. Some are awkward. There are smart girls in every sorority not just this one. Don't be fooled. Good luck with recruitment!

AST is amazing. top sorority on campus. Highest overall GPA. Most refreshing presentation to watch during rush week. every girl I have ever met has been so sweet and caring. Not Bishes at all. AST is a great chapter. They have been the top sorority the past couple of years and always win any greek competitions. They have the most genuine and nice girls and they know how to have fun. My fraternity always does a mixer with them and its always a great time!!

I went through recruitment last year as a freshman, and dropped out because I was too busy and decided against it. I liked two sororities when I rushed and Alpha Phi was one of them but some things I have seen at parties since then have been really bad. Also I had one girl in my class last year who said she wasn't very involved and didn't really feel connected to it. The girls were nice in rush but not sure I regret dropping! If I rush again this year I will definitely go for my other choice.
