Alpha delta Pi-oldest national sorority. First considered a secret society in 1851.
Alpha xi delta- founding university is now a high school and had help from a fraternity -Sigma Nu. Many of Xi Founders married SN men.
Alpha Pi- international sorority and founded by a group of the only women at the time at SU
Tri delta- symbols is all dolphins and tridents and is one of the largest sororities internationally
Kappa delta- founded at a school with three other national sororities
Kappa kappa gamma- is really a women's fraternity and their founders thought of a women's Greek lettered organization before all other national sororities.
Epsilon kappa theta- was once the respectful national sorority kappa alpha theta but did not follow the national sorority sacred rituals and disbanded to make their own
Kappa delta epsilon- an honest local sorority founded on this campus in 1993 with a opening pledge class of 50 women.
Sigma delta- another local sorority based on disbanding from a highly respected national sorority of sigma kappa.

Theta was the first Greek letter fraternity for women. The other weren't actually Greek just literary societies or something.
