These past couple of years have definitely changed the rankings:
Top: KDE/Kappa
Tridelt
Upper Mid:
APhi, KD, SD
Lower Mid: AZD
Bottom:EKT

Kde/Kappa
Tridelt/Aphi
Sigma Delt
AZD
KD
EKT
Even though these are the supposed "rankings" every sorority has great girls and there are things people like and dislike about each one. Just enjoy your time at Dartmouth and go Greek only if you want to.

For the most part, every affiliated woman loves her own house and every group has fun/a strong sisterhood but the perceived "rankings" still exist on campus:
Kappa/KDE
APhi
Tridelt
KD/SD
AZD
EKT

I would maybe say SD/KD/AZD and KDE/Kappa but the general idea is there. It's super hard to rank locals too but the ranking mentioned above is right in saying everyone at Dartmouth will say that their house is best - it just depends on what you're looking for. Keep in mind the way rush works too, the house chooses the girls in the end, the girls don't choose the house.

Every year pledge classes shift the rankings slightly and overtime there are definitely differences in the perceived campus sorority rankings. Talked with alumns from a long time ago and tri delt was not as preppy or popular as it is today by a long shot. Also more recently the dynamic of APHi has totaled changed since they got a house. Definitely go wherever makes YOU happy and if you are concerned about rankings, there is nothing that anyone on this forum can say during rush that will change your mind! Also down the road who knows how your house will be thought of? General current consensus:
KDE
Kappa
Tridelt/Chi Delt
APhi/KD
SD/AZD
Theta

When going through rush, you may not like the houses people say are "top" because they aren't what you are looking for, but here's the truth no matter what people say on this site and it's probably not going to change for a while.

Kappa - looks for the most part, still thriving on popularity of '14 kappas, lack sisterhood
KDE - super ragey, athletic, and mostly attractive, superficial sisterhood
Aphi/Chidelt - both ragey, both great sisterhoods, just slightly different personalities, both have recent pledge classes that are shaping the houses in new ways
Sigma Delt - chill women, rather eclectic mix, alt but very fun
AZD - sweet girls, some like to go out but most don't, genuine sisterhood
KD - very national, don't go out often, seem to have fun with each other

Shake out system: Theta - "f the patriarchy" is on a banner in one of their rooms, genuine sisterhood

Sorry but this was definitely posted by an alum who graduated years ago because these are definitely NOT RIGHT according to students on campus today:
Kappa/Chi Delt
KDE
APhi
KD/SD
AZD
Theta

Yeah the other comment by "laughable" is way closer to the real campus sentiment although I probably would have put it as
KDE/Kappa
Chi Delt
APhi
KD/SD
AZD
EKT
