what should i expect?
by: freshman PNMI am planning to rush a sorority next semester, but I want to know what I am getting myself into. I heard that SHU's sororities do haze despite a crack down on campus. So I just wanted to know really..well...how bad is it? I was particularly interested in either the deephers, the phis, or the gams. How bad do these three haze?

I was in last year's AGD pledge class and we were not hazed in any way!!! Our sisters were very welcoming and supportive. I encourage you to go Gam! Best choice I made here and the sisters are fun, smart and caring!

Not true. I quit during pledging last year because I experienced hazing. one week later 4 more girls quit that same sorority for the same reason. Like B.S. said, they just don't like to admit it until you begin the pledge process.

Think about it.....No sorority will ever mention what type of hazing they do to their pledges. News like that will get back to the Greek Life Advisor and the Dean of Students. Everything is on the down-low.

Mostly all the sororities at the Hall haze the hell out of their pledges. They just don't like to admit it.
