Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Seton Hall University - SHU 1.5 As a pnm I wouldn’t join this sorority. I’m glad some girls have found a home here, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if the org as a whole falls off within the next few years due to involvement issues. I think their president even stepped down. I wish them the best, but if you’re looking for a true sorority experience, I’d say look somewhere else!

As a pnm I wouldn’t join this sorority. Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Seton Hall University - SHU 2.0 i often feel bad for ast because of their treatment on campus. there is a huge lack of respect for this org and i think that their treatment feeds into the reason why they cannot grow their presence on campus. on the other hand, i find that some of the sisters can come off bitter and mean. it is no secret that if you were to rank ast it would be bottom tier, but i think that these type of arbitrary things have less meaning when you pay less attention to them. time and time again i hear ast sisters bashing other orgs, body shaming other women (it goes both ways!), etc. i hope that they are able to gain more traction during this year's recruitment but it's hard to say whether they will or not. they dirty rush like crazy which probably doesn't help them in the long run. it sucks to say bc i believe this org has so much potential and some very great, kindhearted women thrown in the mix with others who are hateful and mean.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Seton Hall University - SHU 4.5 pledging ast was one of the best decisions i've made at shu. ik im pretty biased as i'm a sister, but it's genuinely full of some of the best and nicest people on campus. they are super inclusive too, and i've never felt uncomfortable expressing myself with my sisters.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Seton Hall University - SHU 3.9 The friends that I have involved with this organization are nothing but kind and dependable. I feel bad for them because all of Greek Life at SHU constantly puts them down, talks negatively about them, and classifies them as "weird". This is exactly why I didn't join Greek Life- they brag about philanthropies and women supporting women and treat fellow members of their community poorly based on stereotypes. A bad look, honestly. I hope they are able to prosper but I'm afraid that will only stop once all the orgs start giving them a chance.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Seton Hall University - SHU 2.7 This sorority has some girls that are great but it’s only a few. A lot of them are super weird and I feel bad for the girls that got in that are actually good because it’s overrun as the weird sorority. They will take anyone LOL
