formal panhellenic rush 2016

I'm going to be a transfer student this upcoming Fall semester. I am very interested in Greek Life and plan to rush! I am just a little concerned since I'll be a sophomore and I was wondering if me being older will put me at a disadvantage of getting a bid? I have good grades (a 3.7 at my current university) and I'm involved with 3 clubs right now.
I have just heard that some schools give priority to Freshman and I dont want this to hurt my chances!
What do you guys think?

it won't hurt your chances being a sophomore! i know plenty of girls who got bids as sophomores being in the freshman pledge class! don't stress about it!! just be yourself and you'll be set
