dg drop/comeback? open to future predictions?

My friend, (she goes to a different school) told me that if your intentions are being in a top house, look at everything and join the house that's set to rise rather than the current "hot house." Her school has a more active greek life than SJSU, so I didn't give it much thought. But, after looking at this site and talking to some students, DG seems like it used to be the "hot house." Now, it's tap-dancing at the top of the middle tier, feigning top tier-status, and praying AOPi doesn't try to climb the ladder and overpower them for their position (not saying it's going to happen but if they were to set out to increase their status....DG is directly on top of them.) There are some really great girls in DG, a lot actually, but you'll notice that the bulk of them are 3rd,4th,or 5th years. It seems like the last 2 or 3 PCs were the anchor to their dropping status, pun intended. All the girls who joined 2+ years ago, thinking they were joining a "top" house, are now kinda screwed. Yet it seems like the DGs are complacent dropping from top to middle. True? Do you think they'll try and make a comeback? The issue I see is not only the complacency, but that even if they did try, the girls who were actually there when DG was on top are gonna be gone in like two years. Do you think the last the last few PC's are capable of making a comeback on their own? Do you think anyone else could seriously eclipse APhi in the next few years? Axid?
