Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority Ratings at SJSU

A lot of the girls that live in are really cool. Depends on the person for sure but they can be hard to approach but they are nice and cool people when you get to know them. Primarily reach out to you or give u a bid out of looks, but the sisterhood is still genuine. They’re known to have some drama…but from what I’ve noticed, there’s going to be drama in any sorority you join on campus.

Great girls! Fun to be around, nice, top house for sure. I know alpha phi is great everywhere so no surprise that they are great at SJSU.

This sorority is on thin ice so if you plan on staying here for your next four years don’t. You’ll be better off at another sorority. They’re about to be pike soon iykyk. The sisters in the house are fake and will do anything to make themselves look good. There’s no sisterhood at all because all they do is snitch on each other. They usually give bids to girls that are pretty or ig famous but since they had a membership review there’s only 20 girls in the house. They’ll give you pity bids since they’re desperate and broke. Aphi needs money to keep the rats out of their house.

mainly recruit only good looking individuals with a few occasional not good looking girls just to balance it out but it’s obvious those bids are given out of pity

I met these girls at house tours. They are really diverse and I really appreciate the way they gave us individual attention and was genuine

Word on the street aphi has a horrible sisterhood. The girls in the house do not get along and I know for a fact they sleep with each there boyfriends. There is a group of them that do like to party but they are not classy about it. They are not involved within. community what’s so ever. Most of them drop after 2 years. Very few graduate as an Aphi

Its all about looks to them. Literally. So many girls join for the name and looks but later on drop because they realize how horrible their sisterhood is. There is a group of cool, genuine girls but that is about 5 of them. Good luck

They promote diversity to be one of their values, but when you look their images all you see is white privileged women being added to their sisterhood. If you're not rich, blonde, and tan, this is not for you. The few "diverse" women in their sisterhood are simply used as the token to show and prove to others how "diverse" they are.

The only sorority Aphi associates with is DG, almost if they are a tag team. They used to associate with PIKE but PIKE is no longer at sjsu. Their sisterhood is HORRIBLE. The girls do go out a lot but are not involved within the community and have a lot of problems. They are known for being party animals...DG & Aphi top

Recruits based off looks and looks alone. super snotty girls, and they’re very cliquey. Most girls just join for the name. If you’re not what they’re looking for prepare to feel discriminated against. Most reviews on here are accurate.
