This wasn't the sorority I was originally interested in hanging with when I was freshman, because I had different priorities then. But with time, I really appreciate these women. Now as a junior I hang with them. Most of them are super authentic and comfortable in their own skin. They are really diverse, inclusive and cool.One of my good friends is a DZ and she spends tons of time volunteering at the Animal Shelter,is a really excellent writer,and one is a lab tech (while in college).

I know a lot of these women. They women I know in this group spend most of their time taking selfies and texting to people and posting cheesy selfies on Facebook. They try really hard to be "classy," but it just isn't working. There is a lot of good things about the group, but they need to work on their authenticity - this is a state school - not USC. Stop trying to pretend you are something your not. Get comfortable in your own skin, and relax.

I'm not a member of any group on campus, nor did I ever attend San Jose State.I know this group of gals because I deal with them as that I am a director of a local non-profit where several local groups (sorority/fraternity etc) volunteer. I have to say that the Delta Zeta is hands down my favorite of any Greek affiliation. They are always punctual, polite, prepared, organized, enthusiastic, and they are one of the few Greek organizations that actually work with us to help our organization.

The self ranking is so pathetic. Lets look at some facts: no good pledge classes, never won any philanthropies, and terrible at sports. Only plus is that they can throw parties, but they probably wont have very many now since they dont have the IFC president anymore

I'd call Sigma Nu the overall top house at SJSU. They are very fun to be around and always willing to have a good time! All are very respectful and social with a strong companionship between each other, they aren't bad looking either! Keep an eye out for nu :)
