houses in sorority circle

I noticed that the houses in Sorority Circle/Columbia Terrace have a very similar look to them (from the outside at least). I was just wondering if there was a reason for this. Were these houses built at the same time? I'm asking because they all look very similar, but other houses like the ADPi, Tridelt, Chi O, DG, and Pi Phi houses have completely different architecture. Anyone know about this?

Yes all built about the same time. Mid - late 50's.
