not a chance. that theme was done like 4-5 years ago. you don't copy and reuse a theme that quickly.

I thought AGD was good too. It doesn't matter if the theme was used 5 years ago. Themes reoccur just like theta had a theme that had already been used before, but they still did an amazing job. Theta and AGD had really good choreography. Literally they both nailed it even if the themes were used before.

yes it 100% matter. don't be lazy and come up with your own theme, epescially when that theme won overall. if a theme didn't place and you want to try and redo it to make it win, go for it but you don't reuse a theme that already won. it makes you look again lazy and desperate to win.

I will admit that it wasnt a "new" but the major part of the score sheet is the choreography. Also there were many themes that were reused or similar to past themes such as Disney, Netflix, etc.

I think ADPi, TriDelt, AlphaPhi and Theta were the best. As I said in another post, I think Theta won due to their choreography, which is worth the most points. I don't think the themes were that good this year, Theta's was at least original. There were better props and costumes than Theta, but that isn't worth as many points and they had by far the best moves and dancers.

I think it was what I expected. Some people put too much effort into costumes, makeup and props. The focus should be on the dance now that it is worth the most points. Theta has great dancers. And wth is with the copied from ADPi comment? I was curious and watched, one was about Kentucky traditions the other about famous people, and the dance and costumes was totally different. Don't waste your time.

costumes, props, makeup, that definitely matters. Greek sing is a performance not just a dance routine so as important as dances are, if you don't have the other components the routine is pointless,boring and will not win.

I don't see where anybody said costumes, makeup and props don't matter, of course they matter, they are all worth points, but they are not worth the MOST points. Choreography is worth the MOST points. What matters in the end is who had the MOST points total. So seems pretty logical to me that the focus should be on the dance, and the props, makeup and costumes secondary. Example, Theta and TriDelt taking top honors and haven't heard a single person say anything negative about their dances, only negatives are about themes and costumes. They have the best dances, they get the MOST points, they WIN.
