rushing 2015

I am going to be an incoming junior this fall and I never really have felt serious about finding a home and becoming apart of a sorority till now . I want my last two years to be special and mean something . I need honest opinions on if there is a point to go through recruitment even with me being a junior ? Will I be frowned upon or looked at differently ?
